Donations: Are they tax deductible?

Donations DGR

Last night two of our team members attended an event at the Mitchell Fine Art Gallery in Fortitude Valley to support the Wesley Medical Research fundraising efforts.

Wesley Medical Research (WMR) is a leading independent, not-for-profit medical research organisation in Australia with a strong focus in applied research. Wesley Medical research has been contributing to people’s health in many ways since 1994- in better prostate cancer detection and treatment, improved fertility rates, wound healing, minimizing damage from radiotherapy, helping with recovery from breast cancer and many other advances.

If you would like to donate to WMR you can visit their website at wesleyresearch.org.au/donate

Any donations over $2 that you give to an organisation that is registered as a deductible gift recipient is tax deductible and can be claimed at the end of the current financial year. Have a look on the list below and see if your favourite charity is eligible to claim a tax deduction for your generous donations.
